If You Need Social Security Disability Benefits in Salinas, Call Us

If you’re applying for Social Security Disability benefits in Salinas, Hollister or anywhere in the Bay Area, you’re probably struggling with many different aspects of your life. We understand how hard life is when you have health problems that keep you from working, and our disability lawyers are here to help you.

Whether applying for disability or appealing, your disability claim will be handled by disability attorney Angelina Valle. She’ll meet with you personally (in-person or over the phone), review the facts of your case, set a legal strategy and, with her team, help collect and organize key documentation such as medical records and personal testimony.

As a local disability law firm, Angelina Valle and Associates can represent your interests more effectively than other law practices miles and miles away. You will meet with your attorney, Angelina Valle, rather than not knowing who you’ll be dealing with on a given day. We’re always here to answer your questions or provide help with local resources and assistance programs. Angelina has spent 32 years practicing disability law so she’s familiar with the local Social Security offices and local Federal courts, and she knows the people and processes that make all the difference here at home.

Was Your Claim for Disability Benefits Denied?

Don’t give up! We can help you prove that Social Security was wrong to deny you. The Social Security Administration is a large government agency and your application may have been denied unfairly. You can appeal the SSA’s decision, but you are limited to a strict time limit of 60 days to file an appeal. It’s very important to appeal right away if you were denied.

If you were denied, contact us right away. We know the process. We know how to help you avoid common mistakes. We’ll help you prepare your appeal and we’ll help you get the disability benefits you deserve.

Do You Have a Hearing Scheduled?

If you’ve already filed for a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ), it’s extremely important for you to get your evidence organized. At this point you are strongly encouraged to get legal help. Disability lawyer Angelina Valle will take the time to analyze your Social Security file, prepare your case, gather important evidence, help you prepare your testimony, make key legal arguments, question witnesses, and cross-examine any medical or vocational experts who may testify at your hearing.

Your hearing is most likely the most crucial phase in your Social Security claim. Contact Angelina Valle and Associates right away so we have enough time to work with you to make your case as strong as possible.

5 Star Yelp Review
  • "Smart but tough. She really knows the Social Security Administration. Better to see her in Person than phone consult - she's very forward on the phone - don't be thrown off; Angela VERY knowledgeable about SSA."

How Much Does it Cost to Hire an Attorney?

If you don’t win disability benefits, you don’t pay attorney fees. As your case nears the hearing and Social Security gives us the final version of the records they’ve collected, we’ll work with you to find out what important records they’ve missed, then do the necessary leg work to track them down. If your doctors charge a fee for the collection of these records, we’ll pre-pay it and bill you for the actual costs at the end of your case. We do not charge you for our time to gather those records from your doctor.

If you do win (and only if you win), our fee is regulated by law to 25 percent of the back benefits awarded, with a maximum fee of $6,000, if there is an exceptionally large amount of back benefits. This is the same fee structure for all disability attorneys so all attorneys get paid the same (based on your back benefits) if you win your case. Contact us today for a free evaluation.
